(Scene 1: Down the Rabbit Hole)
(Alice is sitting under a tree, bored. A White Rabbit rushes past, checking his pocket watch.)
Alice: Oh, my! What a strange rabbit! He's wearing a waistcoat!
(Alice follows the rabbit down a rabbit hole.)
Alice: (Falling) Oh, dear! This is quite a long drop!
(Alice lands in a large hall with many locked doors. She finds a tiny key and opens a small door, revealing a miniature garden.)
Alice: How curious! I'm too big to fit through!
(Scene 2: The Caterpillar)
(Alice meets the Caterpillar, who is smoking a hookah.)
Caterpillar: Who are you?
Alice: I... I'm Alice.
Caterpillar: And what do you want?
Alice: I want to get back home. I've shrunk!
Caterpillar: You're not very sensible, are you? Eat some of this mushroom. One side will make you grow, the other will make you shrink.
(Alice experiments with the mushroom, changing size repeatedly.)
(Scene 3: The Mad Hatter's Tea Party)
(Alice finds the Mad Hatter and the March Hare having a tea party with the Dormouse.)
Mad Hatter: Have some tea, Alice! We've been waiting for you!
March Hare: But there's no room! Not enough room!
Dormouse: (Sleepily) More tea!
(The Mad Hatter and March Hare engage in nonsensical conversations, making riddles and puns.)
Alice: This is the most peculiar tea party I've ever been to!
(The Hatter and Hare ignore her, continuing their chaotic conversation.)
(Scene 4: The Cheshire Cat)
(Alice encounters the Cheshire Cat, perched in a tree.)
Alice: Excuse me, Mr. Cat, which way should I go?
Cheshire Cat: That depends on where you want to go.
Alice: I don't know where I want to go.
Cheshire Cat: Then it doesn't matter which way you go.
(The Cat fades away, leaving only its grin.)
Alice: Now that's just silly!
(Scene 5: The Queen of Hearts' Croquet Game)
(Alice arrives at the Queen of Hearts' croquet ground. The flamingos are mallets and the hedgehogs are balls.)
Queen of Hearts: Off with their heads! (To everyone who makes a minor mistake.)
King of Hearts: (Nervously) Perhaps we should try again, my dear?
(The game is chaotic and violent, ending with Alice running away from the Queen’s wrath.)
(Scene 6: The Trial)
(Alice finds herself in a courtroom, witnessing a trial. The Mad Hatter and the March Hare are accused of stealing tarts.)
Queen of Hearts: Guilty! Off with their heads!
(Alice stands up to the Queen.)
Alice: This is madness! I don't believe you! This trial is unfair!
(The Queen is enraged. Alice grows to a giant size, terrifying everyone.)
(Alice wakes up under the tree, realizing it was all a dream.)
Alice: It was only a dream... but what a dream!
(Curtain)
This is a shortened version, of course. A full production would need far more detail and dialogue, fleshing out the characters and scenarios more fully. You could add songs, dances, and other theatrical elements to enhance the performance. Remember to adapt and expand upon this script to suit your specific needs and the capabilities of your cast.
